Conference organizers

The Conference focuses on various aspects of mathematical modelling and usage of numerical methods in modern problems of science and engineering. It aims, in particular, to foster cooperation among various specialists in this field.

Working languages of the Conference is English and Russian.

The main topics

The scientific program includes invited plenary talks (40 min) and contributed talks (20 min).

Abstracts and Proceedings

The abstracts (maximum 1 page) will be published before the Conference. Authors should submit abstracts before March 15, 2002 by e-mail to anur@ut.ee.

Instructions and a style file for the preparation of the abstracts are available at http://www.iam.ut.ee/abstracts.html. The selected papers of the Conference will be published in the vol.7 of "Mathematical Modelling and Analysis", Technika, Vilnius, http://kipras.vtu.lt/rc/mma. All papers will be pair-reviewed.

The registration fee is 90 USD (that includes all local expenses - accommodation for two nights, 3 meals per day for Saturday, June 1, 2 meals per day for Friday, May 31 and 2 meals on Sunday, June 2, and publication costs of abstracts). This fee can be paid directly at the registration desk (by arrival).
